For the past two years Arts in Education of the Gorge has been pleased and honored to partner with FISH Food Bank on this fun, creative project. FISH has been fighting hunger in Hood River County by gathering and distributing food for more than 40 years. In the past few years, the demand for their services has increased by 65%. They currently serve an average of 400 families/individuals each month. With your help they have raised the funds necessary to built a new food bank in our community, that will allow them to store and distribute more food, including more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Hood River Valley High School ceramics teacher, Amirra Malak and her students created stunning handmade bowls for the event. This annual event provides high school students with a service-learning opportunity where they can utilize their creativity and skills to reach out to those who need our support the most.
