One Band Brings Music from Around the World to 5 Area Schools!
We are proud to announce that Craicmore, featuring contemporary traditional Celtic music and dance, will be performing live for school children throughout the Gorge from Wednesday, April 18 – Friday, April 20.
The Craicmore Band infuses its music with instruments and sounds from around the globe. Part vocal harmony, rhythmic hard-shoe dancing, an East Indian Shruti Box and rumbling Didjeridoo all accent the warmth and passion of Craicmore’s fiery performances. Each band member has a deeply personal connection to this music, and each brings a lifetime of live performance and study from a wide range of musical genres.
We are able to subsidize these school concerts thanks to our Gorgeous Sounds music program. This music opportunity will reach children from Mosier, OR, The Dalles, OR, White Salmon, WA and Hood River, OR on the dates below:
Wednesday, April 18th 9:30am @ Dry Hollow Elementary, The Dalles
